Moon in a bottle
About This Project
Synopsis
A whimsical journey through the existential and absurd. Zeta is commissioned to ghostwrite a novel, and looks for inspiration amongst the eccentric clientele of the Café Rossignol. These oddballs include Alicia, the waitress who doesn’t want to fall in love; Pascual, the café-owner who waits nervously for the arrival of his old friends and lovers Irene and Kurt; and Don Jose, who lives in fear of the letter that he doesn’t dare to open. They all want to change their lives, but when the moment to attempt the impossible arrives, will they be able to ‘bottle the moon’?

«…A fresh and innovative proposal within the framework of Spanish cinema…. A deeply bohemian story sprinkled with touches of magic realism and surrealism… It makes us regain our faith in cosmic utopias, even if only for an hour and a half… «

«…An interesting proposal that on more than one occasion brings a smile to your face… A delicious piece of philosophical chocolate, dipped in magic powder and topped with humour… »
