Presence of Ikiru Films at Ventana Sur with the 2D animation project Mariposas Negras (Black Butterflies)
MARIPOSASAS NEGRAS, the animated feature film project directed by David Baute and produced by Ikiru Films, Tinglado Film, Anangu Grup, Televisió de Catalunya and Tunche Films, has been selected to participate in the Animation! Work in Progress by Annecy, which is being held these days within the framework of the Ventana Sur market. Ikiru Films producer Edmon Roch and director David Baute traveled to Buenos Aires to present the film.
Ventana Sur is the most important audiovisual content market in Latin America organized by the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) and the Marché du Film of the Cannes Film Festival.
Synopsis:
Climate change impacts the lives of Lobuin, Vanessa and Soma, three women from very different points of the planet but with something in common: all three lose everything due to the effect of global warming and are forced to migrate to survive.
