“A MAN OF ACTION” EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE ON NETFLIX ON NOVEMBER 30

The film “Un hombre de acción”, directed by Javier Ruiz Caldera and starring Juan José Ballesta and Miki Esparbé, will be released exclusively on Netflix on November 30. Completing the cast are Luis Callejo, Liah O’Prey, Alexandre Blazy, Ben Temple, Ana Polvorosa, Fred Adenis, Josean Bengoetxea and Jon Olivares, among others. It is produced by Ikiru Films, La Pulga y El Elefante and La Terraza Films for Netflix.
The screenplay is the work of Patxi Amezcua who is inspired by the life of Lucio Urtubia: he was a Spanish bricklayer and anarchist militant living in the French capital. Due to his clandestine activity in favor of international anarchist groups, he is considered by the Spanish and French political left as a sort of Robin Hood.
What is it about?
Loosely inspired by the life of Lucio Urtubia, and with fictionalized elements, ‘A Man of Action’ explores the figure of the historic Navarrese anarchist, who carried out a legendary counterfeiting operation in Paris that put him in the crosshairs of the largest bank in the United States, when he managed to obtain a huge amount of money by forging traveler’s checks
